  1. There is a lot of overlap. Ethics is usually rules of conduct for institutions and organizations whereas morality is more about your conduct as an individual.
  2. I've done a 12 day water fast. I never felt at ease or not hungry. There is a lot of BS out there about fasting. Lots of myths that people use to sell their books. I got nothing positive out of fasting. It was miserable from day 1 and it only got worse each day. By day 10 I could barely stand up from a chair without fainting. Listen to YOUR BODY! Not "experts" selling books. Your body has a lot of intelligence to it. Learn to listen to the messages it sends you.
  3. If a girl calls you out for using pickup lines, you gotta stand firm and call her out on her shit. Like this: "Well, how else am I supposed to meet you? I saw you. I felt attracted. I came over. I'm a simple guy. And the opening line I use is irrelevant. I could have stopped you with the line: I love chicken." Or, a dead simple alternative to all that would be: "I don't use pickup lines when I got real game. Pickup lines are for children." But if you're gonna say that, you have to not be using canned pickup lines. You create trust by being genuine. Have nothing to hide.
  4. Whatever you're talking about, it's all happening within your Consciousness, and nowhere else.
  5. I would not be a good administrator of such a project. Too much human nonsense and games. I don't deal with managing human institutions. That would corrupt my work.
  6. Because you are selfish and lack Consciousness.
  7. No. The notion of "matter" is a figment of Consciousness, so matter IS Consciousness. However, what God can do it make you believe that matter is not Consciousness. So God can do the above as an illusion. Which is exactly what it has done. Consciousness can never stop being Consciousness, however, it can forget that it is Consciousness. And that's the whole trick: forgetting.
  8. Your Consciousness is Absolute. Only you exist. Obviously.
  9. @BlessedLion It took me over 200 trips to start seeing demons and dragons. It requires the appropriate chemical.
  10. Plugging DMT simply will not work. You need MAOI with DMT.
  11. Thanks for sharing your story. The key lesson here is that you need to listen to your body more than human experts. There is no one diet that works best for everyone. You need to listen to what your body is telling you to find what is suitable to it. This is often counter-intuitive because dogma will say stuff like veggies and fruits are the healthiest, but that doesn't mean anything if your body has problems processing that food for whatever reasons. 122 lbs for 6'2" is extremely under weight. Of course your body should have problems with that. The #1 rule when it comes to health is: no health advice is suitable for everyone. Therefore you must empirically determine what works best for you.
  12. There is truth in that. But writing it down still helps. A lot sometimes. Writing it down is part of integrating it. Insights are not THAT elusive. You can easily develop a method for quickly writing them down and going about your contemplation.
  13. He is always God, but don't know it most of the time. It's not really enough to be a thing, you gotta know you are it for it to matter. Like, if you have a million dollars but you don't know where it is, you are effectively not a millionaire. It's total only until it remembers it is God. It's like dreaming. In a dream you are totally helpless in the dream, until you wake up.
  14. Something like that, but you have to be very realistic about how much is possible there. The goal is not equality for its own sake but justice and fairness, so if you earn it, you will have more. But you must really earn it. Basically it's a gradual process of eliminating various sneaky forms of theft. But just because you've eliminated all theft does not mean everyone will be equal. But it would be nice to live in a world where no theft ever occurred, or if it did, it was swiftly punished.
  15. Pat def has some admirable qualities like that.
  16. Sure, I've done it. It's about what you'd expect. Nothing too different from either one by itself. There isn't really potentiation because they are too similar.
  17. Not writing down insights is criminal negligence.
  18. The political analysis on PBD Podcast is really poor, I have noticed. You'd be foolish to get your politics from there.
  19. That is largely an illusion because that way of living doesn't scale. What worked at those scales does not work at our current scales.
  20. I recommend listening to yourself.
  21. Of course Yes I am willing to acknowledge it was left wing. Although not the current version of the left wing we have in Western democracies. What you have to take into account when thinking about this issue is that the ideals and values of Communism are still an example of very high levels of development. It will take the average person a lifetime of development just to adopt a value like economic fairness and equality. Of course that doesn't mean your good values won't lead you off a cliff. The problem with Communism is that it is way too advanced of a value system for 95% of humans to embody. But the desire to embody it is an admirable thing. You're just too selfish to actualize it. The right-wing, on the other hand, is not even developed enough to desire the values of Communism. Not because they are smarter than Communism, but because they are too selfish and ignorant to even care.
