Once you start taking Buddhism seriously, it effectively becomes the operating system of your mind. You don't yet appreciate how limiting and dangerous that is -- if you're a serious truth-seeker. Now, if you just wanna dabble in spirituality and not think too hard, Buddhism is okay. But if you want to get to the bedrock of Consciousness, you will have to be way more intelligent then aping some Buddhists -- be they West or East. You cannot reach the highest levels of Consciousness by aping any human. You have to think completely original thoughts! You have to navigate without any map. You MUST tap into true Intelligence! Only the highest Intelligence will cut through all the illusions, constructions, and limits of your mind. You need to become so Intelligent that your mind sees through Buddhism like an x-ray. That way you can move beyond into trans-human and Alien Consciousness.

If you are so bothered by the Spirituality subforum that you need a new one for "the good stuff", then I don't think we can help you here. You're in the wrong place. The Spirituality subforum has many serious and important threads. I see no reason why your best mystical experience doesn't belong here. This subforum is also the most active and popular so it will get the most views. Creating new subforums reduced views, so I'm generally against it unless it's really warranted.

I don't think there would not be enough posts in such a sub-forum. We create new sub-forums only if there's enough volume of posts to fill it, so it doesn't feel like a ghost-town.

You can have Direct Consciousness of the Absolute nature of Self & other. That's the method: Direct Consciousness. Not necessarily. God could also be laying a trap for you. Fooling you into thinking you understand solipsism. If you misunderstand it, then you will become trapped, not Awake. If God didn't play games there would be nothing else to do. It's like you enter a video game world and then complain why nobody in the world is confessing that it's a video game. And then you complain about it being a game world and not a "real" world. Because you need CONSCIOUSNESS to have clarity and for things to be obvious. You lack the consciousness, hence confusion. It's always YOUR dream. How else would an "other" be created? God has to employ trickery to create reality, otherwise there is nothing. In that case you would never know "other". To dream! You call that death. You are scared of it. That's the only reason you're alive. If you want Truth then you must be prepared to face death.

For me DPT is not like that, it's much too serious, at least at a full dose. At a low doses it's sorta not here nor there. But you won't know till you try. DPT is usually not something you take for fun.

All things are ultimately One. Reality is composed of imaginary differences. Yes, the difference between your Mom and a dog is imaginary. However, don't forget, imagination IS reality.
