If Israel does not properly defend itself 1000s more civilians will be killed by Hamas in the future. So that is the higher priority. It didn't start out as Palestinian land. It was land without a solid state of any kind, being part of various Middle Eastern powers and empires over the centuries. Land cannot be "yours" unless you have built up a solid state to claim and defend it. "Palestine" was never a properly defined state. And it still isn't today. Because it was never powerful enough to define itself. If you want to be able to have a state, you must be able to win a war. If you can't win a war then you don't get a state. That's the way things work. This is not kindergarten.

Holding the position that a Jewish state should not exist is not anti-semitic. There could be various legit reasons why a Jewish states ought not to exist. The most obvious one is: if its existence requires stealing land from others and oppressing them, then it may not be worth it. No country has a "right" to exist. I don't claim that. I'm well aware of my limits in many areas of life. Most spirituality is not people seriously thinking, they are parroting group-think. This includes the New Agers, Buddhists, nondualists, etc. It's all deep group-think. And when it comes to politics no one is seriously thinking either. The key is to realize hoe precious and rare original thought is in humans. If there's one thing I do differently from others is that I try to think original thoughts.
