  1. Scrolling through Shorts in your feed is a huge pain in the ass. That's like saying, why don't you just avoid all the ads spinkled throughout a webpage? No thanks. All that crap eats up your mind's bandwidth.
  2. Be here with an open mind, to learn, not to spread religious dogma.
  3. As Ralston himself will tell you, there's much more to this work than awakening.
  4. Simple stainless steel works great.
  5. Well, you have to wonder, is a song the best way to achieve your LP? What is the best way? I'd focus on that.
  6. I'll have to look into that. Thanks.
  7. @MellowEd We have a policy against religious dogma on this forum.
  8. @Bobby_2021 If someone comes to your home, what you do is go in the other room and eat a lobster, then you come out and make them a cup of ramen noodles.
  9. No one cares as long as you got skills and can offer value and accomplish excellent results. In the business world what people care about is the results you can provide.
  10. Do not make us look bad by associating with you.
  11. @Felinez The point of the episode was to get you to realize that ultimately all authority rests on your shoulders because you are the one who decides which sources to trust and which not. Why aren't you a follower of Hitler? Because you decided he isn't worth following. None of this means you shouldn't learn from others. You can learn from people without ceding your authority to them. That's what I do.
  12. Sure Introspection and reflection are pretty much the same thing. I do not distinguish between them.
  13. 4 personality types is way too limited of a model. It will give you bad results. You need something with higher resolution.
  14. Obviously your desires are influenced by culture. Why call it these silly names like "memetic desire"?
  15. Contemplation is important but by itself is not enough for serious growth. Serious growth also requires massive exposure to new experience and also suffering. You will only deeply learn things when its accompanied by sharp emotions. Contemplation alone is too dry and abstract. Emotions and suffering are what sear lessons into the mind. If a grizzly bear bites off your foot, that will be a powerful, transformative growth experience, unlike anything you can contemplate your way to on the couch. Bottom line is, you need grist for your contemplation mill. Yes, of course.
  16. Tip: Use Privacy.com for all sketchy online transactions, like porn sites, etc. This will keep your real card from being stolen or overcharged. It also elimates those pesky recurring subscriptions.
  17. The authority issue doesn't mean that your false beliefs and self-deceptions will change how reality functions. Rather, it means this: If reality contradicts your false beliefs, ultimately that will only reach your mind if you let it. Your authority is necessary to admit that your own view of the world was wrong. So authority comes into play when you finally admit to yourself: "My ideas about the vaccine were wrong." And until you do that you will stay lost in your own bubble of vaccine fantasy.
  18. Well, that requires a lot of contemplation and awakenings to appreciate. But for now you can Consciousness to be your entire visual field. Consciousness is an infinite and eternal field. It isn't divided into souls or anything else. You are the Creator and the Creation. Following the Bible will only make you more confused. Best to throw all that away and just focus on contemplating and exploring the nature of Consciousness in your direct experience. No one can tell you what Consciousness is, since you're directly experiencing it already. Rather than reading about red, if you want to understand red, just look at red.
  19. I will handle this.
