  1. It's crazy that the US doesn't even recognize Palestine as a state. So much empty rhetoric and corruption.
  2. There is no drive to be effective or productive or organized unless you have some meaningful purpose for investing your energy in such things. Why do you care about being effective or organized at all? Why not just be an ineffective bum?
  3. 1) Look for biz ideas that require little money. 2) Work a job and save up money for your biz idea. Look for needs and deficencies in the marketplace.
  4. That's how immature people live. Just by looking at our business culture. Nah, what runs the world is money and power, not progressive ideals. It is deceptive because many of these giant companies virtue signal with Green values, but in fact they are run by pure profit motive. Look at Facebook, these AI companies, Big Tech, all of crypto, all of medicine, all the top universities -- it's all Orange on steroids with some lip-service to Green. You realize how bad it is when you realize that even universities are not Green but Orange.
  5. Start a business and learn it by doing. Hire some people and manage them.
  6. Too much hippie vibes is not good for you. Life is a brutal affair. Hippies are too disconnected from that. Which is why I speak of crocodiles. A hippie will not understand life until a crocodile bites her foot off.
  7. Fundamentally, I think it's because finite things must get their energy from outside themselves. Your finiteness impinges on others finiteness. A molecule cannot move without pushing another molecule.
  8. The problem is that whatever moral system you construct, you will not be able to live by it. Your very survival will contradict it. You will be harming things just by virtue of being alive. This then leads so all sorts of ridiculous moral mental gymnatics, excuses, and rationalizations which warp your mind. Being moral and being alive is not really compatible.
  9. According to me morality is an illusion, so....
  10. I mostly mean America and the superpower nations.
  11. Contemplate it for yourselves. Less yapping, more contemplation.
  12. Because it's the closest way of looking directly at yourself. Unless maybe you got huge tits.
  13. Fine. So is racism, genocide, factory farming, and animal abuse.
  14. @Danioover9000 It would be wise of you to deeply contemplate What is art? from scratch. As of now, you don't have a good understanding of it. Chimpanzees are NOT doing art, regardless of how they are trained to hold a brush.
  15. @Davino Rather than focusing on the negative inner stuff, you should just develop a positive vision of what you want to create, like some project, and then get to work on it without thinking about your emotions or limitations. Focus on visualizing the positive vision. If your vision is large then you will naturally be forced to undergo many challenges to actualize it, and as long as you don't quit, this process will make you stronger and wiser. Dwelling on your inner emotional state is a trap. Just get to work creating beauitful things regardless of whatever bullshit your mind comes up with every morning.
  16. No. I was trying to point out a limited way of seeing the world which leads to crusading. The mind has to function a certain way for crusading to occur. This way of the mind then becomes an obstacle to deeper understanding and acceptance of reality. There is a difference between recognizing injustice and corruption vs going on a moral crusade.
  17. Contemplate where is the morality in a crocodile snatching a dog?
  18. I was speaking to the militant, moralizing, crusading sort of vegans. If you are just a quiet vegan then there is no issue. The crusading/moralizing bit is the trap.
  19. We will not transcend Orange in our lifetimes.
  20. You have to expose yourself to challenging life experiences. Not just sitting on your couch. Undertake challenging projects like starting a business. This will force you to toughen up.
  21. They are not lying, they just don't think about the nature of reality.
  22. This is a big mental trap you've put yourself in. Philosophically it is garbage. You are using this "philosophy" to bypass actually engaging with life and doing challenging but rewarding things, like dating or starting a business. You need to admit to yourself that this philosophy is trash and adopt a new philosophy of passionate engagement with life.
  23. Don't do more. Just take a few months break.
  24. It's like looking at God thru different lenses. There is no right or wrong lens. It's not about trust, it's about contemplating the nature of consciousness and experiencing how the mind works.
  25. 1) Because the people who classify these things are just being mechanical about it. 2) It also depends on your genetics. For some people weed is a psychedelic and for others it is not. 3) What I don't endorse about weed is the stoner sub-culture and the chronic use of weed. There is no problem with using weed occassionally for a trip. But that's not what these stoners do.
