Who are America's rulers in the Middle East? That idea isn't credible. America mostly just does lots of business deals there and America supports who is best for business. That's mostly America's foreign policy philosophy. America likes secular regimes because they tend to be better for business, but America settles for other kinds of regimes because it often doesn't have much choice.

No, because both parties support Israel.
-
Something to consider: If the US did not support Israel so strongly then it's much more likely that Iran and Arabs in the region would go to war with Israel because they would have a decent chance of defeating Israel by itself. So the US is trying to make sure that war doesn't happen. That war would ruin the whole Middle East and ruin oil exports.

It can be done, but it's hella hard. For example, the new Bladerunner flopped. Even though it was very well made and better than the original.
-
It's capitalism. Hollywood makes crap films to sell to the masses, who don't want taste, they want dumb blockbusters. Hollywood caters to teens, who are too foolish and impatient to value high quality films. Thus great films are rare and all the great franchises are ruined.

There is a whole science to good storytelling. But ultimately you just feel it. The more you analyze stories the better you get at distinguishing the good from the bad. Many people don't do it so they are happy watching trash. Then again, if you analyze too much you will ruin any story. It boils down to having good taste. That's what make artists good. They have exceptional taste.

@Spiritual Warfare Go outside and touch some grass. -
That would require a level of objectivity which the US deep state does not have.

I don't blame them for feeling outraged. But then again, when your thief has nuclear weapons and F-35 jets, you might wanna consider a compromise, for your own sake. Don't start a war you have no way of winning.
-
So do it then.
-
It's not about fear, it's about bias. It makes perfect sense. The US cannot admit to itself that it is the cause of Arab terrorism.
-
Lol. Zizek might as well ask them to shoot themselves in the head. A truly radical act, where nothing is lost.
-
To say that would require an understanding the Palestinian side. Nothing is obvious to a Zionist.
-
He obviously wants Trump to win, and more than that he will do everything he can to manipulate the election for Trump.
-
Because Biden is a normie who just follows Washington group-think. He doesn't think original thoughts. To untangle the Palestinian situation requires thinking original thoughts.

Because if you're dead you can't do anything else.

You can't cultivate your connection to soul if you cannot master material survival. Be careful getting ahead of your skiis. Soul is not gonna pay your bills. The whole challenge here is that you must master both, and balance them finely. I can't run Actualized.org if I am broke.

Of course there's not gonna be a cease-fire. The whole point of this new war that Netanyahu created is to divide the American left to help Trump win the election. Netanyahu needs Trump to help him do more war.

Narcissism is an extreme degree of ego. Loving someone instead of you is not narcissism. The girl is just biased. You are also biased in which girls you wanna sleep with. So you and the girl are the same, both hunting for something that fits your biases. -

Ego is biased love. It's both. A few have. But people are too selfish to care. "A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty." -- Albert Einstein -

You increase love by seeing that everything is One, and increasing your state of consciousness. -

Because I have biases and values. Also because I have a different consciousness than Trump. It's like you're asking, Why does a kangaroo not survive like a crocodile? -
Leo Gura replied to Loveeee's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It is a biased love. Human life is all about bias. Survival results in biased expressions of consciousness. Just like when, for example, fundamentalist Islamists feel that their religion is absolute and superior, they are being very biased. So human love is like that. A human twists and steals God's Love to love in a biased way that serves survival of the ego. If God says, I love X Y Z, a human takes that, twists it, and cherrypicks it to mean, I love Y but hate X and Z. In this way there can be a human who loves X, another who loves Y, and another who loves Z. And they all feel they are absolutely right, since EVERYTHING is Love and metaphysically the differences between X Y Z are imaginary. Anything a human loves he's right about. But he's missing everything else he doesn't love. It's like you are given a multiple choice test question where the answer is E: All The Above, but you only selected A. Your answer isn't wrong, but it is very limited and misses the bigger picture.
