You can start by subscribing to some newspaper with actual journalists, like the New York Times or Washington Post and read a few of their articles per week. Do that for a few years and you will learn a lot. Understanding politics requires following the news for years. Slowly you learn.

Art, engineering, programming, teaching, research. These are some options. Of course any of them can get corrupted.

1) Any popular person who claims to care about truth should be immediately doubted. 2) You don't make $100M by caring about truth. 3) Certainly no marketing person cares about truth.

Realistically the only way real progress happens in government is through massive suffering and disaster. Because voters are reactionary. They need some pain to react against. Because they cannot think ahead.

If the progressive worldview was valid then a progressive like Cenk should easily get 60% of the vote. He supports all the policies which the people supposedly love. Why wouldn't he get 60%? His ideas are so popular and good.

Of course it's not all the progressives fault. The candidate matters a lot. But if you think progressives are gonna be more popular you are kidding yourself. Cenk ran for Congress. He got under 10% of the vote. Cenk's run for Congress is the prefect example of progressive delusions. It's easy to endlessly critcize the establishment Dems, but that doesn't mean you will win elections. Progressives are guilty of the very thing you accuse us of. They blame the center all the time for everything. And yet when they run, progressives lose elections handily. Bernie ran. He lost. Yet progressives take zero responsibility for this. Like it never even happened. I don't care to blame progressives, but they are delusional about how politics works. That much is clear and needs to be underscored because they still don't see it.

Yeah, that's what center left looks like. You really expect MSNBC to be TYT? If they were they'd be a tiny fringe channel with no mainstream cedibility. No major politicians would appear on their shows. What you want already exists. It's called TYT or Majority Report.

You are being way too charitable to Whatifalthist. Peterson is another great example of someone who you should be careful not to give too much credit too because in the end all his philosophy amounts to is delusional rationalization of Trump's moral and spiritual bankrupcy. You can't claim that society is going to hell from moral and spiritual bankrupcy and then vote for Trump as the solution. This is pure nonsense. It shows you the pervertedness of all these religious moralists. This is exactly why I talked about Whatifalthist at all. Because of how deeply it shows that self-deception runs. His ideas are so perverted that I didn't even want to share his videos with my audience. Just watching one of his videos is to risk perversion. So watch out. I am not going to detail all the errors of it for you.
