Imagine if Taylor Swift sang about truth-seeking the way she sings about her newest boyfriend.

This is not a serious solution to any of mankind problems. Life on Mars will be utterly miserable if not simply impossible. Musk's whole Mars project will be a spectacular failure and will not help mankind. But it sure is a nice fantasy to keep everyone working. The resources being poured into the Mars project would be much better applied to improving Earth. If you want a place to colonize and terraform, go colonize Antarctica or the Sahara. Both are far more pleasant than Mars. Mars is a disgusting barren wasteland.

It is not. Most people are nowhere capable of paying the price. Doing some 5-MeO is nice, but it is nowhere near the fullness of this work. Any fool can go to a 5-MeO retreat. What I'm talking about is a 10-20 year journey in consciousness work. Involving many awakenings but also a lot of contemplative work and embodiment work. That's where the real price is paid. There is almost no price for a single 5-MeO trip so anyone can do it. Deconstructing reality and the ego, and making full sense of God, is so much more than a few trips.

Pickup was always corrupt, even moreso when it was unknown. Pickup forums of 20 years ago were vile dens of scum and villainy. It's shameful that Owen cannot admit this to himself and his followers. He refuses to make pickup more conscious by teaching ethics, empathy, selflessness, respect for women, and how to avoid corruption. Pickup is stuck in toxic Orange.

It is true that spirituality increases suffering in the short and medium term because it requires confronting difficult existential and psychological matters. The ego will not go quietly. But everything valuable in life has a price. Do you really expect immorality and God to be for free? Without a price? Clearly there must be a high price otherwise everyone would have God. God is not chosen because no one wants to endure the price. Sometimes the price of spiritualiry gets so high you wonder whether you'd be more net happier if you never even started. Spirituality is a very long investment. And most people are poor investors, unable to stay in long. It's also not right for everyone, and might only become suitable for you later in life.

Oh God. I am afraid to know how he uses them to justify his MAGA worldview.

More subtle lyrics would be better. An epistemology lecture is not the right way for music. It's gotta be more mysterious and implicit. You could write a song about truth-seeking so that normies wouldn't even understand what it's about. Until they start their own inquiry. You also gotta include the emotional agony and beauty of the work. Like how people in songs whine about their romantic struggles.

All these pickup guys would be MeTooed if the general public knew what they do. Owen's old company was killed by MeToo and he will never let that go and admit he was wrong. Be blames Green, when it is in fact pickup that is corrupt. But Owen can not admit that to himself because he is too attached to it. Pickup IS corruption. Regardless of whether it works or whether girls accept it. Pickup will corrupt anyone who takes it seriously.

No doubt being in Musk's shoes isn't easy. But he is so clearly wrong and out of his depth in the area of politics. It's cringe. There is no issue with him doing his businesses. The criticism is all about his corruption of politics. Just because he is rich goes not give his any right to corrupt our government so shamelessly and recklessly, like a petulant child.

Unfortunately pickup has corrupted his mind. That's what happens when you turn pickup into a lifestyle and ideology. Most pickup guys will side with MAGA because pickup would be crusified by wokeness. So they make for natural enemies of Green. They are also easily swayed by the macho vibes of fascism. Owen is also a narcissist like Mask and Trump.

The issue is that his ideas of what is good for mankind are very different from yours. And you should not be so sure that your ideas are the correct ones. Good is relative. It is not at all clear what is good for mankind. That's the issue.

@zurew The problem is that nobody is conscious of what observation really is. Observation is Existence/Truth. The only reason anyone can know anything is because things are illuminated by virtue of being Truth or Existing. Observation is not some material process. It is Truth being True. The reason you can know God is the reason you can know anything. Because its True. If nothing was true, nothing would be known or observed. Knowing is Being.

Both are necessary.

Even logic requires observation to make sense of it. Logic is an experience.

@ricachica Yes, he fakes his demos. But that doesn't mean he doesn't deliver. The reason he fakes his demos is because when you have a large vision for something new, you don't have anything to show people. But you need their money to build it. This is not so perplexing or shocking. Innovative business requires making bold promises using mockups and flimsy demos. The more important question is whether he delivers on the promises in the end. He often does. Musk is a bullshit artist but also good at delivering the goods. Trump is purely a bullshit artist.

In the end, without observation you don't exist. So, all knowing requires observation.

It's a terrible argument. Until you Awaken. Then it is absolutely true.

@AtmanIsBrahman You cannot know that God exists just from the fact that it is possible that God exists. That is pure question-begging. No one ever denies that it is possible God exists. What they deny is that the possibility was ever actualized.

@AtmanIsBrahman The problem is that it's question-begging. You don't know if anything is strictly necessary until Awakening happens. Then you know everything is necessary. But you should not assume that. What things are necessary? is an empirical question that requires investigation and grounding. Are cats necessary? That's not obvious.

Well, eventually you realize that literally everything is necessary. Which is Infinity. The only way to have any thing is to have everything.
