Everyone is shaping society towards more unity, basically. Even those who fight against unity, end up creating more unity. Like Trump for example. His attempts will fail and more unity will result in the long-run. Hitler ended up unifying Europe. The opposite of what his ego wanted. All boundaries are ultimately unsustainable. You cannot create a tribe and have it survive. That is ego. It will eventually die. What globalism is showing is the unsustainability of artificial tribal boundaries. And nationalism is the ego's reaction against that. It works just like Spiral Dynamics. The pendulum swings from ego to the collective, and back and forth as it moves up the spiral towards greater unity. What is Stage Turquoise? Global, universal consciousness. That is where we are headed in the very long run. In the short run, there will be ups and downs and ego backlashes. Trump is a collective ego backlash, trying to maintain the homeostasis of the status quo. The reason Trump voters are nostalgic for the past is because they are not evolving fast enough with the rapidly accelerating change of society. But evolution must proceed. You cannot stop evolution from happening. Rather than cling to the past, you've got to evolve. But ego hates to evolve, so it does the backlash. But in the end the ego always loses and evolution always wins. Selflessness triumphs over selfishness. Because the truth is on selflessness' side.

@StephenK The point is, nobody controls these systems. You could be the richest most powerful dictator on the planet, and you will still not succeed in controlling society. It is totally beyond you. In fact, the more you try to control it, the more likely the system is to slap you upside the head. Dictators don't live very long. Just look at what happens to people like Hitler. Emperors have been trying to control society for thousands of years, and it never really works. All attempts to control it fail. It controls you more than you control it. The water molecule does not control the flow of the river. The river is shaped by a much higher intelligence. Life is constantly moving in the direction of tighter integration, higher organization, and greater unity at the cost of individuality. Unity is bootstrapping itself. You are but a pawn in its game.

Memory is irrelevant at that point. You become it.. It feels like your mind just melts into the universe. The coolest feeling.

@starsofclay You're experiencing it as God right now. Sadly, you just don't recognize it because you take your present experience totally for granted. God is not somewhere else. The one looking through your eyes, is God, not you. The ego has co-opted what has always belonged to God. So it's looking for God somewhere else, when really God is right there if ego would just stop being ego. How to get rid of ego? Very intense spiritual practice: meditation, self-inquiry, yoga, concentration, etc. Or psychedelics for a fast glimpse.

That's your mistake right there. Stop assuming that. You are imagining a "physical" world where you cannot walk through walls. That's what you're imagining! You ain't controlling anything anyways. That's just the ego talking. You dream stuff up at night all the time, and you don't control any of it. Why are you doing spiritual practices if you believe in a material world? You may as well stop. What is the use of spirituality if it is subject to physical laws? Spirituality requires that you give up EVERYTHING. Your notion of a world must go. It is just a fantasy. Which, BTW, is why you're clinging to it so desperately. Just let it go. Don't philosophize. Just let it go. Infinity is NOT a potential. It's right here! It's the whole world you see. Potential and actual are identical.

@Nahm Oh man... you will LOVE 5-MeO. I'm not vegan and 5-MeO still works great on me. But in general, you want to clean up your diet for tripping, especially don't eat junk on the day of the trip. --- I've been hearing that some labs in Canada (where 5-MeO is legal) are getting close to finalizing their synthesis process. They were having problems on the final step of the synthesis, which they have now figured out. Once some of these Canadian labs start making it, that should increase availability since China shut down production in 2015. At least that would be the best case scenario.

Same way people fall into the scam of materialism. There are people right now going to law school, for example, working their asses off 80 hours per week to become top notch lawyers and businessmen, and for what? It's scam. The rat race is a scam even more subtle than a cult. All because people take knowledge for granted. They just believe whatever their culture tells them. There is little difference between a Harvard lawyer and an Islamic fundamentalist. Most people are just robots. How about you?

Clean up your dirty mind

@Serotoninluv Yeah... stick to under 30mg dosages. You went too high. Small dosages also means more trips. Around 25mg seems like a good sweet spot. It's epic, but still manageable. This is super-interesting to me. I wonder why this happens? Not everyone sees God on 5-MeO. But tt happens to me EVERY time and it's so powerful. And it also happens to be me almost every time on other lesser psychedelics. I think we all have different brains/minds and so the psychedelic unlocks certain aspects of your brain/mind. If you are not primed for it, you will not experience God. I think it helps to do a LOT of existential contemplation/philosophy. When I experience God, it's not so much that I merely "experience" it, rather my mind becomes infinite and I feel my mind crawl over the mind God, and as it's doing so, it becomes the mind of God. There is still a thought process happening, but it feels like my thoughts have become hyper-multi-parallel-processes. My thoughts become slow, infinite, very intuitive, and cosmic in scope. It feels like my mind is able to contain all of God. The last time I tripped on 5-MeO, I became so infinite that I could look at an object and see the infinite chain of causes the created. It is like pure infinite knowledge. Like omniscience. Every object in existence has infinite causation. Take a paperclip for example. There is an infinite chain of actions which has led to its creation. My working hypothesis is that different brains will access different aspects of God in different ways (either with or without psychedelics). Which is why spiritual people argue with each other so much. They assume everyone is the same. But this is almost certainly false. There may be realms which your brain simply cannot access, or might have difficulty accessing without proper conceptual frameworks.

@Paulus Amadeus That's right. You can look forward to an infinite number of times being raped, murdered, and abused. And you can also look forward to an infinite number of times being loved, caressed, wowed, overjoyed, etc. You will experience every experience possible. When this really sinks into your mind, you will weep like a baby. And you will also understand why nonduality is so fucking radical that no one wants to accept it. It's way too much to accept. The Absolute will simultaneously awe you and scare the shit out of you. Just think about this for a moment: there are 39 million cows slaughtered every year in the USA. You, as God, will experience each of those slaughterings personally, with your own throat. And that's just cows, in this country, on this planet, in one year. There are 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars in the universe with planets similar to ours, with who knows what kinds of creatures committing what kinds of acts of violence against one another. And the universe has 14 billion years in it. And this is just one out of an infinite number of universes! And suddenly you start to see the scope of God.
