Leo Gura replied to actualizing25's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@actualizing25 Whether something works for you depends on how seriously you go about it. The magic is less in the technique and more in your dedication to it. You are the bottleneck. -
Leo Gura replied to Debil's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Debil The mistake you're making is that you believe YOU are a being with senses. This is untrue. That's the delusion of ego. You do NOT have consciousness or senses! Consciousness is imagining being human and having senses. You are trying to give Mario an ego. Which is just doubling down on the delusion. What you must realize is that you are not really a living being. -
You can just train your voice in the shower. Singing is good, speaking is good, pronouncing words out loud is good. There are many vocal exercises you can do. There are even speak coaches. Roger Love is a great one. He has courses and books.

@Unjigorjigor A) You're reading it too litterally. Mystical teaching are not meant to read that way. B) You are almost certianly reading words that were not written my a highly God-realized being. C) The tragedy of Jesus was that one of the most God-realized people on this planet was executed by his own kind for speaking truth and love. This is the timeless tragedy of mankind. It's not unique to Jesus at all. Jesus "died for our sins" in the sense that ignorant egos killed an egoless man. God killed God. Happens all the time. The mistake is trying to grant Jesus some kind of unique status. If you do that, you completely miss the point. The people who worshipped Jesus did not really understand him. So stop taking their words seriously, as if they knew God. When you really know God, Jesus becomes irrelevant. -
Hahaha Cute

You want some authority figure to give you a guarantee. Well, awakening doesn't work like that. -

It should be possible. Yoga and self-inquiry should merge into one once you get deep enough into either. -
This was not the last debate. There will be another debate in January. Careful with misinformation.

@Spiral Wizard Sounds like you simply don't have a deep understanding of what introversion and extroversion are. With a surface level understanding of those terms it can seem like you're shifting when really you aren't. Make sure you understand what those terms mean.

A) It's a lot less prevalent. B) If someone posts some obvious left-wing fake news, I will call it out. C) There is a difference between merely having a left or right leaning worldview vs dilberate fake facts as in the example above.

@nowimhere Fun fact: Did you know that the word "gullible" cannot be found in the dictionary?
-
Why would you trust anything in your FB feed? This is like the lowest source of garbage information. You might as well be drinking from a public toilet.

Do not spread this nonsense fake news here. This is false right-wing propaganda. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/supreme-court-extend-trumps-term/ https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/failed-impeachment-nullify-term/

Some of them have mystical experiences, but they use that to deepen their dogmas.

@Spiral Wizard The answers will depend on where you're at now (what your sticking points are) and what your goals are. Learning dating is about as challenging as learning biz. It will take some years to sort through the BS. And just like learning biz, it's worth it. So jump right in. Don't worry about having it all figured out now. That's not possible. It is an epic journey.

Nobody who is unawakened is genuinely happy or fulfilled. Stage Orange happiness is a house of cards at best. It will collapse at any minute. Until your awakening, you don't even know what real happiness feels like. You are in constant survival mode.

You got the C and U backwards. And you can erase the bigger circle. -
Precisely! Good contemplating.

There was one final test: he had to choose to drink from the right cup. The simplest cup of them all -- which was the Holy Grail. The greedy Nazi drank from the ornate, golden cup which poisoned him. And then there was the final, final test: he had to let the cup go. He could not take it with him. Good storytelling. The kind they don't make often nowadays. -
@Dovahkiin I didn't say that. And remember, there are healthy and unhealthy manifestations of each stage. Nothing wrong with Orange when its done right.

Merely knowing about Spiral Dynamics and doing a few psychedelic retreats does not mean much. It's easy for the ego-mind to act spiritual and developed without actually being so. This is the norm. It's pretty easy for the ego-mind to compartmentalize its survival, such that in one part of its life it runs a scam to earn money while in another part of its life it attends spiritual retreats and talks about spiritual things. The two work in tandem. The ego-mind is very clever about its survival. This kind of thing is common. Just like how rich people donate a bit of money to charity to make themselves feel like they actually care about the poor and inequality. Also, today Stefan might be above Orange, but you are talking about his past work. How long ago was that? Perhaps he's Green now and his work from 5 years ago was Orange. If you look at my work from 5 years ago, it was also pretty Orange. Not scammy, but still.
-
Typical Orange. How do you think Orange gets rich? By being nice?

Leo Gura replied to assx95's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@assx95 Don't adopt truths which you did not realize as beliefs. You have no idea if things are imaginary or not. You are just parroting some words you heard someone else say. These words are not true for you. For you, if we cut off your finger, you are gonna think it's a real problem. So that's what is true for you. -
As long as you don't get shot up in a random Walmart, church, or school -- you're good.
