What's there is raw sensation, so to speak. But even to call it "sensation" is already too much. We call it Being to be more precise. Being is sensation stripped of the subject and the biological perception process which is a conceptual overly. So when you think that "I am a human and my brain is seeing the color green because light rays are bouncing off the object and into my eye...." << that entire thing is a story you are projecting over top of the raw Being of GREEN. You know it's really green because it is GREEN. GREEN is GREEN. You can't get any more underneath it. GREEN is the Absolute in this case. GREEN is Absolute Truth, but you're not recognizing it as such because you have a story in your mind which says something like, "Green is just a color that my brain is generating." NO! You must throw out that story. Leaving you with just: GREEN. Yes, exactly. This isn't a bug, this is a feature. Yes, of course. Every object is a hallucination. But hallucination is the same as the Absolute. Illusion = Reality It goes much deeper than that. "Perception" is also a deception. But not in the way you think. There is nothing "true" behind the perception. Perception needs to be recontextualized as Being/Truth itself. You need to hatch a long term plan to move out of that environment, into a helathier one where you are on your own. This usually requires developing some valuable skills and getting a decent job. If you can't move out immediately, then start developing the skills you'll need to move out eventually.

The mistake in your thinking is that you assume perceptions are yours. Perception is not what you think it is. Perception is Absolute Truth. So you have 100% access to what reality actually is. Nothing is hidden. Absolute Consciousness is beyond self-deception or falsehood. Knowing can be wrong. Being cannot be wrong. Which is why spiritual practice is about transcending knowing to being.

But it is a foolish way to think. The whole point is that Roman philosophers were elite millionaires who did their philosophy off the back of slave labor. Rome was less conscious than we are today. Much less. Socrates was so conservative he didn't even believe in books/writing! Books/writing was seen as liberal devilry. Romanticizing the past is very dangerous. In the past, humans were basically animals.

That's your paranoia. Exactly the thing I was warning against. The crowd is often more corrupt and stupid than the people it demonizes. The crowd will be hijacked by demogauges and devils to gain power. Exactly as Trump, the alt right, nazis, and facists have done. We have police, a court system, and elections for this reason. That doesn't ever mean the system will be perfect in catching all criminals. Many criminals skate by. The solution to which is to elect better leaders who improve the systems.

Technically he's not lying. He's just unconscious and locked into his paradigm. You are not appreciating the depth of this problem. There is no truth here. There is only a relative difference of perspective. Your perspective is not truer than his. I challenge you to face the relativity of this directly, rather than demonizing the other perspective.

I confronted Shunya directly on the notion that people were more conscious in the past than today. His response to me was the people in the ancient Roman times were more conscious than today. Then he brushed me off. Apparently he doesn't know that 30-40% of the ancient Roman population were slaves. Be careful what hippie bullshit you subscribe to. @Member Of course sex trafficking is a problem and it should be investigated by police. My point was about not creating a conspiracy theory about it. Creating a conspiracy theory around it actually hurts the cause as people start foaming at the mouth over it and start smearing people. Pedophilia is a serious accusation that requires serious police investigation and court trials. It's dumb because pedophilia is not an "elite" issue. It's a general issue across the entire spectrum of classes, races, groups, etc. There are more poor pedophiles than rich ones. Simply because there are more poor people than rich people. But you don't hear about the poor pedophiles and they don't make for a juicy and outrageous conspiracy theory like rich people do. The ego-mind is looking for every excuse to hate rich people.

It is a matter of wanting. You're overthinking it. Would you rather keep arguing, or would you rather awake up? Do not underestimate the power of desire and intention. It drives your whole life.

I don't really see how denying systemic racism in 2020 is an important perspective. Maybe that was okay in 1990, but it's time to move on.
