  1. Absolutely not. You cannot get Absolute Truth from a human. You have no idea yet how deep this goes. You are playing child's games with your faux skepticism.
  2. If you take academic philosophy and add Actualized.org to it, then you will get all the personal dev benefits of Actualized.org. Surprise!
  3. Sadhguru will say; "Isn't it? Yes or no."
  4. Not another of these threads.
  5. Suck it up for now but make plans to move out and become independent. Changing family is as futile as digging a hole in the ocean.
  6. Of course it's a very mixed bag. But I don't think what China is doing is sustainable. People will demand their rights and freedoms at some point. Fighting capitalism is very tricky. I worry that China will go about it in a corrupt way, fighting only those forms of capitalism that serve to consolidate power for the greedy party elite. This has always been the problem with communism/socialism. The party members are full of shit and are as greedy as the worst capitalists but cloak themselves in socialist ideology, which is less honest than capitalism. Their actions are not based on truthfulness, which always boomerangs. You cannot fake your level of development. It will backfire.
  7. Yes, of course. If I was only doing it for myself I would be 100x less developed than I am. Selfishness is not motivating. There needs to be a higher reason for all this work. In many ways I care about your development more than I care about my own.
  8. Yes, I did a ton of that. Too long to go into here. At home and commute. And had an apartment and commute.
  9. Sounds like a Stage Blue crackdown against Orange devilry.
  10. Drones don't have dicks. Ironically, pretty soon all wars will be fought by non-gendered combatants.
  11. That is not what enlightenment is. Be careful with your saintly fantasies.
  12. There are many subtleties to it. Sounds like you're still missing some important facets, so keep probing deeper and from different angles.
  13. Parents paid for me till the end of college. Then I got a job as a game designer. Did that for 1 year, got paid $45k/yr there. Then started my own online biz and started earning 6 figures within 2 years of that. Have earned 6 figures ever since.
  14. Thinking from Tier 2 is intelligence itself.
  15. Academic philosophy has very little to do with personal development. You should expect 0 personal development gains from it.
  16. If your ideal is that stereotypical macho man, spirituality rob you of that because it will make you more feminine. Naturally it must since nonduality is about integrating all sides and the stereotypical macho man image is not well-integrated and egotistical. The solution is embrace and integrate the feminine side. Then just be natural.
  17. It's just such mainstream weaksauce. Awakening can never be mainstream.
  18. He knows he's a role-model. It's just that he gets stuck in his own perspective, as we all do.
  19. I don't really know who considers Joe Rogan to be smart. He's extremely popular. That's very different from being smart. People confuse popularity with wisdom. Rogan is not dumb. He has many nuanced takes. But some of this libertarian-esque positions are dumb. Given Rogan's reach, hundreds of people will needlessly die because he spreads baseless vaccine skepticism. If Rogan publicly took the vaccine millions of people would take it too.
  20. Unfortunately unless Rogan gets seriously hospitalized all his fans will just take this as evidence that they should avoid getting vaccinated. Criminally irresponsible.
  21. I want to understand you better, to better tailor future content to your needs and to be a better teacher. To that end, post here your biggest challenges and obstacles with self-actualization, personal development, success, productivity, etc. Leave out obstacles related to enlightenment and spirituality because we'll have a separate thread for that in the Spirituality sub-forum. I don't need to hear your entire life story and all your petty problems. Try to condense it down to two or three core issues that you feel really stuck on. These might include challenging life circumstances like not knowing how to get a job, or a deep-seated fear that you can't seem to shake, or something you feel you don't understand about life which is causing you to stall, or a bad case of procrastination, or not being sure which career to pursue, etc. What's bugging you? What's keeping you up at night? What's triggering you emotionally? What's keeping you stuck? What's got you confused? Note: This thread is not meant to be me coaching you or giving you solutions to your problems. I just want to gather some data to better understand you. In the process, you may also better understand yourself. Thanks!
  22. @Seed It's a toxin. It will ruin your liver.
