The mind's features & capabilities in relation to reality

1 post in this topic

Self-created reality << Actions << Beliefs << Self-survival bias << Self-awareness

I would like to hear your inputs on the above, where self-created reality is a derivative of actions and so on.

Take for example a physical temple as the self-created reality,

the funding and building of the temple as actions,

conceptualization/imagination of a deity, deciding a deity as fact are beliefs,

wanting good health/wealth, safety and eternal life, avoiding eternal/hell as self-survival bias.

As for self-aware, I see this as a natural law of the universe, just as gravity is.

And what I am seeing here is the mechanics of how things work, how reality is created, starting from self-aware.

The religions of the world work this way. Money making schemes work this way.

If I have a serious case of mental retardation, and I lack the capability to conceptualize, imagine, or decide what is fact,

I would not be able to be religious or fall into a money making scheme.

It's all a mind's game.

But what do you guys think?
