Jordan Peterson on Israel-Gaza war

1 post in this topic

That was so refreshing and pleasant for me to hear this psychological point of view, much much better than any politicial statement.

Although this interview didn't end with any "knockout" to neither way, this is part of what beautiful in this, that made me sense of more acceptance and 'flow' with reality, as I felt from peterson's subtext at least how I interpret him.

I felt his point of view was pretty fair towards Israel's, but also the fairest possible towards the palestinians situation in addressing their real root problem - their own self-tyranny, which nobody will be able to solve but themselves, in the same way that a mental disorder cannot be cured without the system realizing its own self-depressive actions (being projected away in the most toxic form ever possible onto Israel in this case).

While I do admit that Israel has some responsibility for the intensity of the fire (the isolated settlements mainly) it is easy to miss out the fact that this is only a secondary surface level factor but not the root.
