fate vs destiny

[Dear me]

Some people believe that there is no destiny written for us , and that we make our own destiny ... others think that there is a path drawn for us by the universe/God/higher power ,  and everything is chosen for us and we’re meant to go through it as it’s written 

I found many videos on youtube but they’re not profound and they haven’t discussed it from higher-conscious perspectives
