The Easter Story in Spiral Dynamics

3 posts in this topic

The Easter story is a fundamental story in Christianity that recounts the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is a story that has been told for thousands of years and has had a significant impact on the development of Western civilization. Lets explore the Easter story through the lens of Spiral Dynamics and examine how the stages of consciousness of the characters in the story reflect the stages of human development.

Beige:  In the Easter story, the Beige stage is represented by the Roman soldiers who were tasked with carrying out the crucifixion of Jesus. The soldiers were simply following orders and did not question the morality of their actions.

Purple: In the Easter story, the Purple stage is represented by the Jewish religious leaders who saw Jesus as a threat to their religious traditions and worked to have him crucified.

Red: In the Easter story, the Red stage is represented by Pontius Pilate, the Roman governor who ultimately gave the order for Jesus to be crucified. Pilate was more concerned with maintaining his power and authority than with the morality of his actions.

Blue: In the Easter story, the Blue stage is represented by the disciples of Jesus who were devoted to his teachings and saw him as a messiah figure.

Orange: In the Easter story, the Orange stage is represented by Judas Iscariot, one of the disciples who betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver.

Green: In the Easter story, the Green stage is represented by Mary Magdalene and the other women who were devoted to Jesus and played a crucial role in spreading his message.

Yellow: In the Easter story, the Yellow stage is represented by Jesus himself, who was able to transcend the limitations of the previous stages and embody a broader, more inclusive perspective.

Turquoise: The Turquoise stage is the holistic stage and is characterized by a focus on spiritual development, global consciousness, and interconnectedness. In the Easter story, the Turquoise stage is represented by the resurrection of Jesus and the subsequent spread of Christianity, which has had a significant impact on the development of Western civilization.
