Lamotrigine is great for mood

Lamotrigine is a mood stabilizers used mainly in cases of bipolar disorders but as the name implies it does stabilize the mood. I used to have massive mood swings on a daily basis, when I started taking this medication along antidepressants, I felt much more stable. Its effect is immediate not like antidepressants which is great. You can  start feeling the effects in ten minutes. 

I would argue too that it helped with my depression and anxiety. I feel it heals the brain and return it to its previous functional state. 

You can ask your psychiatrist about it. It is safe and can be added to any antidepressant regimen with no problems, but it should be started gradually.
