“What we now want is closer contact and better understanding between individuals and communities all over the earth, and the elimination of egoism and pride which is always prone to plunge the world into primeval barbarism and strife... Peace can only come as a natural consequence of universal enlightenment...”

― Nikola Tesla

Wow this was great.

Wanted to share a few of my favorite quotes of his

"We have many a monument of past ages; we have the palaces and pyramids, the temples of the Greek and the cathedrals of Christendom. In them is exemplified the power of men, the greatness of nations, the love of art and religious devotion. But the monument at Niagara has something of its own, more in accord with our present thoughts and tendencies. It is a monument worthy of our scientific age, a true monument of enlightenment and of peace. It signifies the subjugation of natural forces to the service of man, the discontinuance of barbarous methods, the relieving of millions from want and suffering." - Tesla

"The day science begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence."-Tesla

'If your hate could be turned into electricity, it would light up the whole world" -Tesla

"I don't care that they stole my idea . . I care that they don't have any of their own" - Tesla

@Loreena It's really funny that I never saw the profundity of some of this stuff when I was younger.

I always thought it was more "blah, blah, blah world peace blah blah blah being egotistical is bad". After doing personal development, I'm much more attuned to the sagacious qualities of past greater thinkers. I'm especially intrigued by the fact that they could intuit higher consciousness values while operating under duality and  relying upon purely conceptual frameworks.
