Balance Beams Induce a State of Continues Balance

1 post in this topic

This is slack lining but at the local park i found a long hand railing and been walking across an hour a day and i noticed that I'm now constantly in a state of trying to balance my body.

I like active ways to practice meditation, I feel its significantly more effective at inducing changes in perception that last because of the high engagement.

Training

  1. Thinking/Subvocalizing will cause you to fall so you need to remain silent, this is HUGE! The moment you start thinking you loss balance and fall. This is an amazing feed back system.
  2. Relaxing is vital or else you'll fall, so basically you relax or you die, it cant get better then this!
  3. Maintaining a wide field a vision and perspective movement or else you'll fall. Maybe it can be done blindfold but you need to have incredibly high proprioception to not rely on visual cues to rebalance.
  4. Concentration of relaxing some body parts and the balance points between the center of the body and limbs with the tension of other muscles, a full body concentration exercise!

Innovations

  1. Home slack lines linking all the rooms together, no need to use a floor.
  2. Balance beam standing desks
  3. Balance beam chair, keyboard and mouse to induce a continues sense of balancing proprioception.

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?
