Goal And Expectations!

3 posts in this topic

I study Mechanical Engineering. I have a comprehensive exam in 3 months. It requires me to study a lot of books. I probably have to study 7 hrs a day for it! It's my goal to get a really high grade on this exam. It's very important to me. It will directly affect my future.

It kinda makes me anxious when I think about the outcome.

So I have a general question!

What 's the healthy outlook towards goals? Should one have high hopes about the results? Should one expect to get great outcome?

Or the healthy way is just do what you can and get detached from the results completely?

And if It's better to get detached completely from the results, how can I do it? How can I change my  towards results?

You should have goals.

But your goals shouldn't be " I would like to become the topper."

It should be so strong like

" I am the topper "

Visualize yourself getting good grades and other positive stuff.

That will give you motivation to study hard
