What is it like being a life coach?

I'm currently doing some email outreaching for a friend who is a copywriter in the personal development coaching niche. The problem is that my emails aren't getting replies. Due to this I want to send a batch of more personalised emails that empathise with the prospects situation. In order to do that I need to understand what it's like being a personal development coach.

So if you're a personal development coach can you help me out here? Can you paint a picture of what it is like being a life coach?

What are your aspirations and problems?

What things hold you back in your business?

What do you value in your business?

What are the things that make your customers listen to you and buy more of your time?

And so on...
