Need advice on game

In cold approach, I always end up creating awkwardness and mess up the set.

I think I am also a bit socially awkward in general so maybe that spills over to cold approach.

So, I am asking what practical strategies worked for you if you had similar problem.

Yes I do watch them. Maybe I need get on some infield workshop.
