Day 1-20.04.2021

This journal will be about new habits I want to implement. So the first habit will be a studying session. First I’ve planned to start it at 6pm but we usually eat after 6pm for dinner and after that I’m unfocused so I’ll start at 5pm for at least an hour but aiming for longer. 
I see a habit as aquired if I get 60 repetitions of it by following the rules.

Rules for Studying Challenge:

1. I win if I get 60 repetitions by following to the following (lol) rules:

2. I have to study for at least 6 days a week

3. On one weekend day I can change the time I’ll start studying

4. 1 repetition is completed if I study for at least 60min

5. it’s ok when I get distracted by dinner or my family

6. Every other distraction isn’t allowed

7. Special Clause:

I can start studying later if I arrive later at home because I visited a friend for max 2 times a week

8. Normal Clause:

If I’ll have soccer training again, I get a side job or I’ll have to meet my doctor I can change the time I’ll start to study

9. I’m allowed to change the rules if the outcome will be better

So let’s go?

Day 2-21.04.2021

I sticked to the rules today so I’ve completed the first repetition. I watched Leo’s video about escaping wage slavery and man he’s speaking out of my soul.

Also I watched his advice for high school students and now I have stuff to implement to my life?

Day 3-22.04.2021 

Repetition 3 completed✅.

Today I’ve made a plan for learning for the French exam and I started to learn vocabularies. After that I watched Leo’s video about time management with doing the exercise. It was hard to start but listening to songs helped me starting.
Tomorrow I want to learn about social media detox, nofap and learn for French exam.

Day 4-23.04.2021

I studied today but I didn’t study at 5am because I wanted to play a video game. It would be ok if I did it for a better reason but I didn’t it.And I was very distracted. So tomorrow I will start from day 1 again.

Today I read the book from Cal Newport about Digital Minimalism. Here’s what I learned:

•I’m addicted to my phone not because I’m just lazy

•I’m addicted because there are high paid ingeneers that invent highly effective strategies to hold me on my phone as long as possible

•they are really good at it because they’ve studied a lot about that and they do it for a living

• I was unconscious about this fact and I didn’t strategised agains their strategy

On the last two days I followed the habit of studying. I read the book Digital Minimalism and I started a Digital Decluttering process

Day 3-26.04.2021

It works well. I‘m reading Digital Minimalism and a book from Tony Robbins. I‘ve also learned for french exam today.

Still in but inefficient. I studied chemistry today and I would like to continue tomorrow but just focusing on THIS topic.

Day 5

I’m still in. I want to introduce a principle for studying more efficiently: First I choose a topic I want to study. Then I choose a set amount of time for studying. During this time I just focuse on the topic and treat it likes meditation. I let thoughts and complains be while researching. Another mindset for personal problems while studying: It’s my fault that I have the problem. I caused it and I can learn knowledge to change it.

Day 6

Still in. Today I studied chemistry but like the schools want you to study it. Just remembering and recalling because our chemistry teacher wants to test us about “chemistry vocabulary”. It was fun because I learned with Anki for the first time. 
Also I studied about how to relief shoulder pain and it helped me.

Day 10-03.05.2021

Still in. I’m changing the rule to:”I study for an hour around the time of 5pm”

Because it’s right now just impossible for me to start EXACTLY at 5pm.

Today I studied on how to deal with suicidal thoughts, Christianity and maths.

Failed. ❌

Today I just procrastinated a lot by pretending of studying. But I studied geography for some time too. Tomorrow I’ll get things that I can do better.

Ahhhhhh to much procrastination. I‘ll do the task at 5pm tomorrow.

Today I studied about my vision.

What I can do better this time:

•Focus on one thing I want to study

•Be mindful and study just that

•Choose the day before what you‘d like to study

Tomorrow I‘ll continue studying my vision.
