I was so close

This is probably nothing to most in here because most seem as if they've had a direct experience of their true self. However, an experience would like to be shared.

I took some edibles (thc) last night. I did a little meditation and just focused on my awareness. Suddenly this rush of energy came over me, I felt pressure in my head and starting in my chest. A white light came over me.

It left. It was disappointing not coming to direct experience of my true self. It is good to see results though. I've been at this point just a few times now and can never seem to break through.
