Does every authentic self have Truth as highest value?

I'm at the part of the values assessment now at the life purpose course.

So, my reasoning is this; if your values represent your authentic self, the deeper you go into yourself the more your values will align with your authentic self. But then if you go deep enough, you will get into spirituality. You will find out there never was a self, you were god the whole time. Soo, isn't truth than the highest value for everybody, but most are just so disconnected they can't see it yet? They have to peel more surface layers before they even get to see that true value?

Or could it be totally legitimate and accurate for someone to not have this as their highest value? Some people just don't want to find out Truth? There sure seem to be a lot of people who don't give a fuck  

Or is all this discussion nonsense because there is only one Self lol.
