Ram Dass, Be Here Now

1 post in this topic

I'm almost done with this book, I didn't think it would be good, but my Grandmother insisted I borrow it from her.

It fills me with positive motivation and equanimity, it's one of my favorite books.

A part of the book is autobiographical, and another part is artsy picture with poetic stuff, but most of it is very foundational, insightful, and practical advice. There are 20 or so chapters on meditation, yoga, dance, psychedelics, guru's, mantras, sleep, siddhis, and tons of wisdom.
It's from 1971 and represents the best of the hippie culture.
