Does writing goals in the present tense work?

1 post in this topic

It seems like a silly idea to me because you're basically lying to yourself. You say to yourself that you already have the goal but you don't. And if you manage to convince yourself that you already have the goal then you won't be motivated to take action because you think you already have the reward. I know it sounds like I've already made my mind up about this topic but not 100%. Therefore my question.
