Let’s begin with the fact that not everybody has a boyfriend or girlfriend and, even more, not everybody need a BF/GF. So, the first question is: do you really want to build a relationship? Maybe, it’s just something about physical needs. The world is large and there’re a lot of people who can be called «your people». They will be with you cuz of the fate. Just look for them. Maybe, there is a friend with whom you’d like to build relationships and you just didn’t admit this fact yet? Accept feelings of other people, be open to the world and don’t focus on one person if you feel that you don’t understand him, or he don’t understand you.
