We are bombarded from society, school, religion about being serious and adults. In consequence many of us we fall in the trap and remain focus on the right ear and right side of the body as a feeling. Male and Female we are indoctrinated on the right side. 

By having the direct attention on the right side as basis, in reality we only discover Feminine energy and only Male concepts. So to get in contact with your masculinity and the divine masculine, one has to move the attention on the left side of the body. 

As a zen proverb said: "the knife cannot cut itself''.

Divinity is divinity. Men and women can have the same amount of it (never understanding each-other completely) all the way until one sees it through as a man or woman. As a man accepting and surrendering to femininity 100% would entitle you to unconditional love. Women get the power lol
