What mechanism would determine that Im conciously experiencing exactly this human being in this exact year.

Why am I not some other human? If there is nothing but an objective external materialistic world, this mechanism woud have to be material itself. Can you imagine that?

Just a thought I had. Is there any materialist explanation for this? Is there a philosophical concept that deals with this?
