Computer Software for PD and LP Work

Hello all,

I am currently using OneNote to take daily inventory about insights I have in life and in books. Yesterday, I discovered a software called "XMIND" and it allows for awesome mind mapping content.

Does anyone recommend any other type of software for PD? (I also use Adobe Acrobat to read PDFs I download from the Web)
