Why Am I Not The Body?

24 posts in this topic

Your body is entirely different from 5 years ago, all your cells are different.
So it doesn't really make sense to say you're the body, that would imply you're always someone else, all the time, and that is not what the common assumption is when we talk about this topic.

Your psychee, even without self-developement is very different from your teenage years, and from your childhood years.
The same sense of "I" is present, so you're not the brain either, something else is there from the very beginning.

God is love

Whoever lives in love lives in God

And God in them

You are definitely the body.  You are also the computer and the chair and the floor.  You are everything, but everything is nothing.  Everything is an illusion but this illusion is all there is.

@Outer Public/private is a conceptual distinction which you invented. If the self/other distinction is conceptual and unreal, surely the public/private distinction is so.

Meaning is something you also invented.

Being has no meaning. That is nonduality. Meaning only exits for egos.

Meaning exists for egos because nothingness wants meaning.  It wants all kinds of things.  The meaning of everything is that nothing wants meaning.
