The thinker cannot use thought to reach enlightenment

48 posts in this topic

Realising that your most basic nature is rooted in a vast, unconditioned reality means that transient”thoughts”lose their solid grip, appearing insubstantial like a dream.

Silent not- Knowing presence is the only real and true reality. Untouched, unwritten, unspoken by thought.
One who can abide silently as this eternal space of pure aliveness is truly free, and wholesome.

The ( thorn ) metaphor meaning that a temporary concept, tool, or remedy (the second thorn) is used to eliminate an existing problem or illusion (the first thorn), after which both must be discarded so they do not cause new suffering. ( Once Removed )

Blessed is S/he who trips without psychedelics.

The Trap of Overthinking

The Loop: The mind feeds on itself, turning simple observation into endless calculation.

The Illusion: We value symbols and ideas (like money or digital photos) more than real, living experiences.

The Verdict: Thinking is a useful tool, but a terrible master.

When we overanalyse everything, we mistake the map for the territory and lose touch with direct, physical reality.

I  know you emphasize the trap of overthinking.  I don't know if this is the right way to frame it.

Because there is a creative way to use thinking that I know you appreciate sometimes.

What creative way to use thinking are you referring to, thinking about, exactly? 🤔

What is this creative way to use thinking that you know I appreciate sometimes? Are you going to tell me what you know I appreciate sometimes or not?

Tomorrow you’ll be telling me to get lost, you might even ask me to block you again.

Who exactly are you appreciating here?
