A deep spiritual compassion

1 post in this topic

One thing i think is important is recognizing some compassionate side, or balancing it, such that you are spreading compassion throughout your own life, on to others, as you would to yourself... Like im very hurt when ppl got all these animals but they dont really take care of them so much that they are like, temporarily living w/ them like roomates. Iuno how often that happens, but the greater point is just the compassion that you have is finite, like you only have so much to divide amonst the world, And anyone else is like a potential lost soul that you should guide.

So "Guiding souls" i think is part of it. Compassion is also a deeply felt compassion that exists spiritually, such that you avoid getting caught up in the mechanisms of consumerism and things like this, i mean. Unfortunately, many times its like, 'how can this benefit me... And it may 3ven be the case that, the person who needs all the healing is in fact yourself, or someone close, or simply your pet / animal(s); birds, cats, etc., I always felt very hurt by the lack of compassion, the lack of time shared amongst humans and animals, and it continues to bother me, so i thought, that should be something we share...

... Theres probably more to it, but i cant think at the moment... Feel free to fill in the blank, or share other things that are sortve parallel to this idea of compassion and wisdom, etc.

Paraphrase from Poimandres (Corpus Hermeticum): "... that which is in the Word is also in ourselves."

Greek Magical Papyri (PGM): "I call upon the Word of the All, that which binds heaven and earth, and let it manifest in the circle."

Plato – Cratylus (439–440): "A name is a likeness of the thing itself; if rightly spoken, it carries the essence of what it names."
