What's the point of saying this though? You demand real profundity from books yet this statement isn't that profound. 

What if you talk someone out of reading the book that could have otherwise benefited from it? In our short-video addicted world literally any book is better than none and there are a lot worse authors out there than Dieda.  Maybe I'm over reacting but it also might be a point worth considering?
