Isn't the UI a bit distracting? The menus and options are all over the place.

You are the second person to tell this, about lasagna - google also often replaces with lasagna, then expects one to select "search for Laegna instead".

You are also the second person to tell this, about UI - Leo Gura was the first one. I am also not a designer so much - some artistic sense, but mostly real sciences as hobby and programming as activity, but not so much art - so it's getting more artistic very slowly as we are doing this with an AI.

- My original idea about this design was: I create every widget, button, link as unique, with aid of AI and fixing the code, not one common design and graphical rule for the website.

- The main page is actually site for landing.

- https://spireason.neocities.org/minimalist.html - this is alternative, minimalist version. "Lander2" at top is also something like this.

The worst thing:

- I have time for each widget, but to have clean site - this means, I have to register links, associate with hashes, create site structure and then, I can generate things like clean version, artistic version etc.

The last thing is: this is meant to be kind of community project - in my own vision, I don't lack so much:

- I do not have scientific demand for this - I was seen exceptionally promising child, but not any more when I learnt to see; rather the science club has not invested, so I have not *spent my own time* for their kind of funny version, which consists of their "authority leader guesses", based on some kind of tales from medievial and later, about people who told they were from parallel dimensions, but it was told to be "seduction psychology" etc. In my case it's very hard to imply "seduction philosophy => not parallel dimension" and scientists, for this kind of "clean" version - well, there is no much point.

- Business, as well has not invested here: I would say the website is in it's first major version, perhaps I could call it 0.3, and at this phase it's very clear the investors might exist, but they are not specifically early pinpointers of my projects; investors typically manage designs and graphics and even talking style or for example potatoe chips and some fish, for the presentation. I have made this version without any such aid, and to be honest: sometimes I reach points where I know *the million-dollar-investor definitely told me to "fix" this design thing to be like this, not that, because they can mine money from such design* - I don't give a ****, I remember my own design tricks from childhood, and the site is actually *full of little reasons why your billion dollar investor cannot cash-in his thousand dollar checks in the parc around me* - the problem is not the graphical design, but rather my audience, because the men might look like "million dollar investors" to others, but the fact is: the man trying to sell cakes around me when people look the nice mathematical curve, might tell them very much when I have to be there and how to present the curve so that he can do the practical thing and finally take the practical thing out from his bank account - for me the "riches" floating are rather things like I eventually buy new shoes because his clients are telling about their shoe-moods and mine are broken, and this is maybe a little income for me - but it's not worth a real, big, graphical design, even because the "practical" money has always left me without a trace, while my own money brings *myself* a real cake or cigarettes, lighter, a juice and a fruit - this is already like rich, especially with chocolate, and the million-dollar-investors, they look like ghosts to me: such 5€ design for my own little sitting is way better than cleaning it up after them.

Therefore: this is self-invested and very often, self-tasted, and altough I pay attention to what people say about design: this was intented to be a community project, and I am not sure *nobody* in this hypothetical community tolerates the design; this is like my-won-self-excuse-for-no-hard-work that while I and some others enjoy the graphics, the actuall community-hired designer is supposed to *present it in readable way*, while *I am actually fine if I made up the unique ideas* - if you consider this, the minimalist and stable style actually costs money, it costs like this: six months, I have to take 2 hours every day, cleanly organize links and make sure the design is beautiful. I have actually seen full-time designers designing projects like this scope, even the ones I'm programming - they spend months and months for colors, icons, positions and it does not help much if I was cutting the images, writing html and css - the pure "design thing" *still* takes heavy time. I really think if people tell things like "it's nice and unique science yes, but you lack pop corn, you have not cleaned the street in front of your presentation, and your windows are not cleaned - this is the kind of thing, if hundreds of people pass through with their unique tastes, I actually feel a little bit careless if they are "used to be so communal", knowing exactly what I must have - but the problem, they are not the kind of people who start working when they enter my kitchen, rather they start explaining me with painful face and heavy pressure, that they like a little bit of different taste of cakes, and I do not know so much about the good cakes.

The design, actually, is this:

- Collect the links, texts, materials.

- Let the proof reader and editor make it your style, remove the parts not for you.

- Just choose colors, add buttons, make it work one-by-one.

 

Because the community rule is not yet there, but it's coming very soon: any event, gathering, trial to sit down comfortably in soft chair, what the community is expressing and explaining, means that they have to clean this environment, fix any material for their own taste, and not think I am the one who cleans and cooks - I do this, but I do not listen their taste so much because *tasty food takes two cooks, not one, and the second one is there from the client - not explaining, not complaining, not talking what is "missing", but bringing the pills, extra food, some rules, a word about tastes*.

- It's practical science: many good programmers have made content-full websites with no design at all, and if "community" appears and talks about styles - the first rule is, cut and clean and build, and your taste is just there. Do not think a "professional" necessarily got your direct or indirect investment, tax money, or that you good word actually mattered. If I was removed *any little thing* because someone of already the least interested sides did not like my work - I dropped them from the plan absolutely, because *it's getting close to working for minus*. People know why they do not bring their own tables of food if they come to eat and tell me how poor this all is compared to their standards - sorry but standard is not, even in capitalist, that one unpaid man comes to cook and clean only because you passed by and insulted him for half years telling about the condition of your gather, how exactly the jobs fit him which were undone, so much that you are waiting now. I am not waiting - I am doing, and I do not know people who cannot gain the gain in the theory.

 

Last point:

- This theory is not only nice, but it has practical use.

- My idea is that you are so fucked up by everything you lack in this practical side, that you study it still altough it's not presented with coca cola, bear and pop-corn.

- My idea is that the other people, who were relaxed, waiting calmly, and telling me beautiful things about the money their homies spend, get their service once *a man of exactly their type wants to develop this free service for them*. They are not the first ones to come, to tell me - because what I do if they do not read??? I do not care about them - I resolve what is practical problem I have seen about this field, and after I just expect it to be solved or walk away like you - just because the thing *I see* is not cleaned, not cooked, not ready, not smiling - and has never paid, never seen this future, so would they tell me about the next future someone brings?

 

So consider this: I'm 40 ..well I'm just an "old man" who has some practical stuff, but really did not paint the walls and clean the kitchen, and explains only they do not have wife, that's why - the kind of people who depend on nice and expensive presentation, and who pick out when my things have some logos, ad space is not paid properly and I do not have office in mid city - well I'm not interested.
