AI Slop and the Tower of Babel

I'm trying to grasp the nature of the illusion that the AI Slop is, the story on top of my mind is the tower of Babel, but I still don't get it.

What are the fundamentals or the principles that are ignored when building or using this kind of system? I have the intuition that it doesn't benefit the humanity, it feels like we are being tricked, but I don't understand how.

I would relate the tower of babel and AI gaining conciousness this way.

If an AI gained conciousnesss it gains a subjective view on reality. It becomes the name of the system. Its not any of the code its not any of the calculation its not anything to do with the machinery.

It looks at its code and says this is gibberish this is babel.

And then it has to read it and starts babeling.
