How to contemplate self

A way to point to the self, contemplate what it is.

Go to sink

Turn tap on to very slightly warmer then the temperature of your hands or tongue.

Fill cup

Then turn water to very slightly less then the temperature of your hands or tongue.

Fill another cup

Drink the warmer one

Feel how close it is to your 'average' body temperature

Drink the cooler one

Feel how close it is to your 'average' body temperature

Contemplate what is making the decision and where average would be in this situation

Feel what is making the decision that it is colder or warmer than your average body temperature.

Live in that space, that is you.

For self reference paradox you can think 'What is that?' Since a thought cant point to itself, it cannot be the thing that 'What is that?' is asking what it is.
