Why do people fight each other? Why do people insult each other or cause intentional harm against someone?

It might sound like a little innocent question. But it is not at all.

It would be rational and reasonable to hurt another person if he is trying to hurt you. Self-defense. Just like if a wild animal is attacking you, you must defend yourself. And no matter how loving and compassionate you are, you must kill the animal if that was the only way to prevent it from killing you, granted that you care about your own survival.

So maybe survival is the reason people hurt others?

Because why else would you purposely hurt another person and cause them pain? It doesn’t feel good even to you. Don’t you feel guilty for doing it? Don’t you feel something inside you telling you that what you have done is wrong?

Why do we hurt each other?

A simple question, perhaps. But one that opens a much darker door into the human mind.

if you hurt another human being on purpose without any reason or benefit to your survival you are committing Pure Evil . And you will go to hell, which is called guilt .

Humans are very intelligent. You have no idea how intelligent people are. Don’t assume yourself the most intelligent smart ass ever . That random guy on the street or that Pizza delivery teenager boy might understand reality way better than you . 
consider that you suppress your own authenticity from others for the sake to fit in and not be considered weird by others . Now consider that others do the same .

if you are eating , focus on tasting every bite . 

if you are playing a video game , focus on enjoying every minute of the play . 
If you are taking a shower , feel the warmth of the water on your skin and body . 
If you are waking , focus on your footsteps. Focus on the scenes you see, the people, the road , the sun , the trees. 
If you are tired or experiencing pain or at least a mild discomfort, experience it fully and slowly . Don’t rush it to end the experience too fast . 
live meditatively. 
by doing this your whole life will become meditation and you won’t need to meditate in the classical way .

I do suffer from OCD and perfectionism. I have attachments and aversions. I cling to things, and I grieve when I lose something I love.

 

The root of this, I believe, is that I believe my fulfillment and happiness depend on external things—experiences, possessions, objects, people, places, or things.

 

It’s clear to me that the only way to achieve permanent peace is to accept reality as it is, as much as I can, and let go of my clingings and attachments, as well as the unrealistic expectations of perfectionism—the expectation that everything should always happen without conflicting with my wishes.

 

But even though I know this mentally, it seems like subconsciously there is still the belief that I shouldn’t spill coffee on my suit, or say something mean to my coworker, or whatever. But these things happen and will never change, because life is chaotic and obviously the ego doesn’t get to have everything going its own way all the time.

 

So what is the solution?

 

Making peace with reality as it is.

and how to do this ? There is literally nothing I can do . When I’m experiencing that discomfort I have to just suck it up and live with it and let the discomfort and suffering be fully there and allow myself to give up to it . “What can I do ?”

being constantly judged and defined by others is a kind of psychological imprisonment.

I don’t think I’m meant to live surrounded by people. I find a kind of peace in solitude that I don’t find anywhere else. Being alone doesn’t make me lonely it makes me feel calm, free, and more like myself.

I don’t seek solitude because I dislike people. I seek it because, when I’m alone, my mind is quiet and I feel at peace. Peace is the most beautiful emotion in the world . And it’s not Merely an emotion, it’s literally God . I’m fully awake to that  Peace = God.

The best way to respond to someone who is yelling at you disrespectfully , insulting you , talking with a harsh tone or talking down on you is to not respond at all and not even look at his face . This is not weakness . This is a huge power.
