hooking

I just noticed how important hooking is when it comes down to interactions. I do allot of approaches and I am getting to understand how a good hook in the beginning makes all the difference. Its the same thing as with a youtube video. You watch a video based on the hook, if the hook is good you keep watching. So what are your best hooks? For me I have found sound hooks people more then anything, being loud or a hand clap, then of course not over doing it, because then it gets aggressive, but it captures allot of attention even from passersby what is good. Please don't come with flirty hooks, just a hook you could both use for male or female.
