Advice on Compartmentalizing

2 posts in this topic

Hey guys and gals,

I can't lie. Since Trump won, I have truly felt down in the dumps.

It is just hard to find the level of joy I was once able to. Just watching us reelect the con artist who did Jan 6 is deeply humiliating, and I have this bitterness towards those who voted for this that I can't brush off.

I have been relatively good at compartmentalizing, but holy shit.... it has been hard this past month with currency debasement, geopolitical volatility, Epstein files, ICE, etc etc etc. It seems like we are all watching permanent damage unfold before our very eyes.

I dont know. anyone have tips. I just want some way to let go of the deep bitterness and stop feeling this constant background stress.

-We're all in this together. And I'm certain we will win, things are already moving that way. This means, this is not all on your shoulders, we all 'got this', you can relax and let go, you're on a global team that believes the same thing and is working on fixing it.

-The only things that are actually affected are just materialistic sort of things. Of which, currency manipulation should hold off serious fallout for low income people(everyone will be fine)

-I go to protests all the time, the communion is very encouraging. Had 1 protest and 2 vigils this week, protest coming Saturday. They're fun too, make friends,....

-live your life, take breaks when you need, re-priorotize yourself, be caring toward yourself. Spending time outdoors, I think helps me a lot, yoga. Just all the typical healthy things to do.
