What People Really Mean by “Vampire Energy”

No worries. I rarely ever masturbate these days too. The last several times i did it i always felt more and more disappointment and disconnected after I released and I kept thinking why the fuck do i keep doing this wasteful / senseless / useless thing for a 5 - 10 second orgasm that doesn't even feel that good, and i realized I was suppressing deeper emotional wounds from a challenging relationship and being cheated on really affected me, and generally struggling to release the anger and the stagnant energy build up in my lower chakras.

I rather wait for the real thing that's far more pleasurable, long lasting, expansive, and often i don't ejaculate at all because the act itself is so beautiful and orgasmic in itself, especially when there is no build up of stagnant energy.

Being on high fruit also helps not be driven by sexual desires a lot as it nourishes the higher chakras more and cleanses the body. More circulation, less stagnation. Also being more physically active and martial arts seems to help a lot too for me.

One day i was reflecting on the word masturbation and I changed the spelling a bit and thought, hmm... to bate the master...

A fruit-based diet is very powerful. I’ve noticed that it becomes much easier to resist impulses on it as well. I did a fruit diet for a month and it was fantastic.

Desire, however, is truly difficult to resist. You really have to be present and have a clear direction. But you should never fight it, because resistance only makes the impulse stronger. Instead, don’t react to it. When there’s no reaction, it loses its power and eventually disappears.

I also appreciate that you were willing to share something personal with me. I’m genuinely glad that you’re thinking long-term rather than choosing short-term pleasure that slowly destroys you both spiritually and biologically. Porn was the hardest addiction for me to overcome, and I’m deeply grateful that I’ve become free from it.

Going back to the analogy with Parsifal, I’m especially fond of the line in Act 2 where Klingsor sings to Kundry:

Quote

Terrible distress! So now the devil mocks me, that once I pursued holiness? Terrible distress! The pain of untamed desire, terrible desire sent from Hell, which I stilled by force - does it mock and laugh at me now through you, the devil's whore?

Similarly, when Kundry kisses Parsifal, he suddenly experiences the same desire which Amfortas was unable to integrate or overcome:

Quote

Here! Here in my heart it burns! The yearning, the fearful yearning, that has overtaken my senses! Oh! Love's suffering! How everything trembles, quakes and quivers in sinful desire!

This passage beautifully expresses the inner conflict of Amfortas and the brotherhood of the Grail which Parsifal is destined to overcome:

Quote

I was sent here also for your salvation, for which you must abandon your desires. The balm that will end your suffering does not flow from their source; salvation can never be granted you until it has been sealed. There is another salvation - a different one - for which I saw the brothers longing in their despair, in utmost distress, scourging and mortifying their flesh. But who can see clearly and brightly the only fixed fount of salvation? Oh misery, that prevents deliverance! Oh, benighted madness of the world: that while seeking for salvation, thirsts for the fountain of damnation!

By the end of the Second Act, Parsifal has discovered the power of his innocence and purity and, now understanding the nature of Amfortas’ wound, will finally be able to heal it:

Quote

[Holding up the Holy Spear] With this sign, I end your magical curse. Just as it may heal the wound which you inflicted with it, may it destroy all your lying splendours!

You know where you can find me again.

Funny how ‘salvation’ always means cutting something out instead of seeing it clearly. Maybe the wound isn’t desire. Maybe it’s pretending purity fixes it.
