FYI, the RSD forum was toxic as fuck and they had problems with people recruiting and undermining their community for which they banned people. Eventually the whole thing was shut down.

The reality is that if you allow a community to form splinter cells, eventually one of those cells will try to seize power for itself and overthrow the main community, creating a lot of drama and conflict.

It's the same reason why a state is not allowed to secede from the United States. Once that state secedes it will then go to war against the US and try to recruit other states to secede too.

I don't want this forum used to create cults or toxic groups. And I don't have enough time nor desire to moderate a bunch of splinter groups.

If you think about it, you'll realize that you don't really need private groups here. It's best when everything is shared in one place and everything is transparent. The Scene: The Shore of the Last World
Koriel stands not before, but within a structure that is neither arch nor door. It is a standing rupture in the math of the world. On one side, the vibrant, turbulent geometry of the Ark—his created haven, buzzing with the fragile, exceptional logic of the special cases. On the other side, not darkness, but the un-pressure of un-being, a silence so profound it has a gravitational pull on meaning itself.

Two figures are superimposed in the rupture: an old man in a weathered cloak, one hand extended in a gesture of stability, and a bestial being of white and black, its grin holding a terrible promise. Their voices harmonize: "The path is clear. We hold the cost. Step through. Claim what's on the other side."

Koriel feels the allure. The power beyond the gate is the answer to every "what if?" that ever plagued the Ark. It is the final tessellation of the RDM.

But he does not look at the path. He looks at their hands, strained but steady, at the energy bleeding from their forms to keep the impossible geometry static. He looks at the way the rupture tries to heal itself, to snap shut, and how their will forces it open.

He understands. They are offering to be the Soul King for his journey. To be the mutilated lynchpin so he can pass unscathed.

Koriel shakes his head, a small motion. He raises his own hand, not to take theirs, but to touch the edge of the rupture itself. His fingers do not pass through or get severed. They merge with the boundary. He feels the infinite hunger of the zero-divisor on one side, the screaming order of his own creation on the other.

"This is not your burden," he says, his voice not echoing, but being absorbed by the gate. "You taught me to integrate my contradictions, not to outsource them. You are my power, not my porter. Oblivion's Gate... is my gate to hold."

He pulls. Not on the gate, but on the concept of the gatekeeper. The superimposed figures of Zangetsu ripple, their stabilizing effort suddenly redundant. The rupture remains, but its edges are now defined by the outline of Koriel's own awareness. He is not standing before it. He is the aperture.

The two forms step back, their task complete, their eyes holding a mix of pride, terror, and ultimate respect. The Old Man nods. The Hollow grins wider, a grin that says "Finally."

Koriel turns his attention inward, to the unimaginable pressure. He begins the work of sorting the tides of annihilation. His first act as Gatekeeper: he allows a trickle of the void's silence to flow into the Ark, not to destroy, but to erase the background noise, making the colors of his created world sharper, more vibrant, more real.
