How has starting a daily concentration practice helped you so far? Personally I have always struggled a lot with concentration. All through High School my lack of concentration held me back from doing well in tests and maintaining focus in class. I also use to smoke a lot of pot which had a pretty devastating affect on my ability to focus and it also made my monkey mind a lot worse. I really struggled when I first started the concentration practice. It took me a few weeks just to get past the two minute stage and I am still only at five minutes now. I have noticed a huge improvement though. Especially in my ability to listen to others while socializing. I started to practice five minutes of concentration before studying and it has had a huge impact on how long I can study for without daydreaming and losing focus. I find it to be a very refreshing way of boosting my ability to study and I would recommend giving it a go. I am interested to know how you are all going with your concentration practice and if you have noticed any growth in your concentration so far?

I have been doing concentration practise for 3 months now I think. I did not notice any signs of improvement. Maybe that's just my ADD that keeps me from improving my concentration but it is still bugging me. Grats with the growth though, I can see how that improves your school and spiritual practise!
