Consciousness is a double edged sword. It is both Creative and Destructive.

Creativity is fundamental. What could be called an Absolute. In order for there to be anything to destroy, first it must be created. What humans characterize as destruction is itself a form of creation.

You see even unconsciousness is itself held within Consciousness.

The Duality of Consciousness/unconsciousness is much more like a continous spectrum than it is two separate discreet items. Imagine if the Yin Yang bled into each other completely seemlessly with no detectable boundary, and you could not tell if it was in fact white or black. Is it any color for that matter? Maybe it is no color at all?

If possible to symbolize this would be a much better representation of Consciousness.

The Yin Yang is more applicable to the material worlds dualities than it is to Awareness itself.

Consciousness contains both Light and Dark. Though it is not that you flip the light switch and suddenly everything is Illuminated equally. No, the brightest illumination is closest to the bulb. As you venture further out, it would seem that this light has diminishing power. It scatters itself into darkness. They are a single continous unit.

Understand that if it were not for the light there could be nothing to reveal that even the darkness exists.

Who says a little Darkness isn't better than Light?

I ask now, what would the opposite of two conjoined opposites be?

Perhaps it is even better to ask: what would the opposite be of just an infinitesimal point of light?

At some point along the way, you become too Conscious to be willing to subject yourself to the tortures you were once able to with ease. You simply will be no longer willing. This does not mean suffering is over. This means that it will transform along with you.
