What Is Your Meditation Experience Like?

Mine has been a long path from egoticism, developing the habit, and counting my breath for 40 minutes. I now focus on my breath and soon I embrace stillness and silence. I can feel it. This is what I focus on. I've noticed it's a lot easier to notice silence and stillness during the day when I meditate in the morning.

Key for me is it be easy. This is how to sustain it. Easy is the gateway to effortless. Meditation is self care. It takes work to get there until it gets easy. Then one day you can't do without it. Even this is a trap. If you don't do it, you need to accept. When you do it, it will be even better since you are not forcing. Meditation is what keeps me authentic and grounded, the master of my destiny and the captain of my ship. Final thing: don't do anything, just sit.
