Tobacco and non duality ?

Have you had any experiences of non-duality awareness through smoking?

Just now I was with a friend and I smoked a good amount of cigarettes and a little beer.

He was telling me how he would like to have a new girlfriend or things like that, and at the time I didn't want to join him.
I could see how it could be "fun", but it didn't matter anymore because I could see how "fun" was just as much an ego play as anything "unpleasant" was.

Maybe it's just a coincidence, but at the same time, smoking puts you in a less egotistical frequency than average, so it makes sense.

I can't speak for smoking, but whenever I use strong rapé (the shamanic tobacco snuff they give you at ceremonies), it puts me into wildly different states of consciousness with highly diminished ego. It also has an interesting energetic component for me as well.
