Satisfaction Meditation Breathing Problem

1 post in this topic

As per Leo's recommendation for Emotional Mastery I'm thinking of starting my Satisfaction Meditation practice again, putting my Do Nothing practice aside.

But whenever I try to do the meditation, feeling the satisfaction to the fullest, I don't breathe properly because I'm so focused on trying to be satisfied. That's the main reason (might be the only if my memory is correct) of why I stopped doing the practice. But obviously I would be much happier if I continued doing it, in contrast to just sitting through Do Nothing, and the happiness payoff in 10-20 years would be far superior to Do Nothing or any other meditation technique I know.

So how do I do the Satisfaction Meditation Technique (feeling satisfied), while not disrupting my breathing?
