Christianity Contemplation

The problem with Christianity is the same problem of fear and guilt and shame, all of the reasons we dread existence and suffer like flopping fish. Christianity is only particularly prevalent in Western civilization due to the consequences of the dark ages which continue to persist despite the conscious recognition of its victims. The West is a vast, epistemic cesspool of verbose jargon and mental ejaculate.  

The Church constructs a lollypop world, replete with pedophiles and popes, clowns and clerks, bishops, baptisms, nuns and blasphemy. There are stories upon stories: enough for a lifetime. In it you can find Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. You can find the remnants of the Holy Ghost, or was that the Holy Spirit? Jesus Christ, am I right?  

These insights came to me after speaking with a version of myself that I consider to be a friend. In this case, I had reconnected with him after years. He began telling me about God. He told me that he had everything figured out and that he would show me the way. He told me he had found God through Jesus Christ. He made it sound so good, so real, so serious. I almost believed him 

In the end, I realized that the deception of Christianity is not the deception of Christians. It is my own deception. I am the devil. Me.
