Is this quote about self-confidence true?

3 posts in this topic

Confidence without evidence is delusion.

You don’t become confident by shouting affirmations in the mirror, but by having a stack of undeniable proof that you are who you say you are. Give yourself so much goddamn proof that you are the version of yourself want to be, and you’ll become them.

Outwork your self doubt.

-Alex Hormozi

This quote was interesting to me because I remember from Leo's Inside The Mind Of Trump blog, where he says that the ego always feels incomplete, so it's always in the business of manipulating reality in order achieve material acquisitions, all in an attempt to feel complete, which never works.

I ask this because for the longest time, I've suffered with crippling anxiety and self-esteem issues. I'm deeply insecure about myself, and specifically about my academic failures.

If an assumption works/improves 99 times out of 100 , that should still give you confidence.

Bad is better than worse.

Good is worse than better.

I have achieved some things in my life, but my mind tells me that it’s never enough, or that I could have done better.

Osho also claims that all achievement is a projection of the ego.
